On behalf of the Lake Mills Fire Department, I am pleased to welcome you to our webpage. It is a great honor to serve as the Fire Chief for the City of Lake Mills. This website will provide you with insight to the structure, apparatus, and services that the
Lake Mills Fire Department provides to our community area. We consider it an honor and a privilege to serve the Lake Mills Area since 1878.
The City of Lake Mills Fire Department provides fire and emergency services through a partnership with Ryan Brothers EMS to the City of Lake Mills and sections of the Towns of Aztalan, Lake Mills, and Oakland. The Lake Mills Fire Department also provides fire and rescue services to sections of the Towns of Milford and Waterloo.
The greatest part of being the Fire Chief of this organization is working with the dedicated and unwavering women and men of the Lake Mills Fire Department. Their devotion to providing emergency responses at all hours of the day is a statement to
their dedication. The tradition of the fire service is one of pride, honor, and commitment. The Lake Mills Fire Department is a combination department consisting of two Full-time staff and approximately 40 Professional Paid on Call staff members. Our regular staffed office hours are Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. – 5p.m.
Requests for service and emergencies incidents, please contact Jefferson County 911. For questions or non-emergency request we encourage you to contact the station via phone or email. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave a message and someone will return a phone call as soon as we can.
