General Reservation Instructions
- Shelter and building rentals are not considered confirmed until payment/deposit has been made. Costs can be reviewed below in step #3.
- Bookings may be made only for 2025. Bookings for 2026 cannot be made until 1/1/2026.
- If you need both a shelter and a field for an event, you must complete an application and submit payment for each separately.
- Shelters are booked for the full day and cannot be booked hourly.
- To book the whole community center, please place a request for both Half 1 and Half 2.
- For field reservations, the tiered booking system outlined below must be followed. Requests that are not submitted within the correct time frame will be denied. In the Additional Comments section of the reservation request, please include the following information:
- whether it's a game or practice
- field prep requests (DO NOT PAY for this--we will invoice afterwards due to potential weather impacts).
- organizational affiliation
Athletic Fields Tiered Booking System
Tier 1 and Tier 2 may begin booking on January 1. For preference, all field use requests for Tiers 1 and 2 must be submitted no later than February 28. Field use reservations submitted by Tier 1 and 2 users after February 28 are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Tier 3 teams may begin booking on March 1 – March 15. Tier 4 teams may begin booking after March 15 – April 1. All bookings received after April 1st will be served on a first come first served basis.
- Tier 1: City of Lake Mills Functions
- Tier 2: Lake Mills Area School District (LMASD) Sponsored Sports, Lakeside Lutheran High School Sponsored Sports & LMASD Recreation Department
- Tier 3: Private League Teams with primarily Lake Mills resident participants as defined by a roster of greater than 50% Lake Mills area school district attendees
- Tier 4: Private League Teams with a majority of participants residing outside of Lake Mills
