The City Clerk is responsible for a number of functions including maintenance of public records, elections, licensing, legal notices, meetings and minutes. Primary Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of Public Records
- Process Licensing Applications
- Legal Notices
- Attends all City Council, Plan Commission and Public Works Board Meetings; prepares agendas and maintains an official record of proceedings
- Administers all phases of the election process including voter registration, absentee voting, legal notices, election day preparation, polls and the Board of Canvass
- Attends bid openings
