Rock Lake is a 1,365 acre lake. It's shoreline is shared by both the Town of Lake Mills and the City of Lake Mills. The City and Town have jointly established the Joint Rock Lake Committee to provide recommendations regarding policies, practices, and regulations on Rock Lake. The City of Lake Mills operates the Rock Lake (Lake Mills) Dam in accordance with the Water Level Order issued by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The City Council has adopted a Dam Management Policy in compliance with the Water Level Order. Below is a summary of the Water Level Order by season and the Dam's set point during said season.
